Job Description

This role is part of the Procurement team within the Finance division at Collabera.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategic programs that meet the needs of internal stakeholders while addressing pricing, acquisition, total cost, lead-time, and supply, as well as managing contracts and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company in business transactions with both internal and external organizations
  • Create and manage strategies, negotiations, RFPs, and contracts
  • Create, negotiate, implement, and manage long-term contracts while effectively developing and promoting strategic partnerships with suppliers
  • Work closely with internal clients, customers, and stakeholders to understand their business needs, objectives, product/service requirements, and broader operational processes
  • Effectively communicate with appropriate management levels both internally and externally
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
  • Assist with the Training program for the Procurement & Supply Chain team, as necessary
  • Assist with the Supplier Diversity program
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3 years of related work experience
  • Demonstrable skills for category management, commercial negotiations, securing hard savings and cost avoidance, and executing complex deals in a fast-changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or other related field
  • 7 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of Source to Pay systems
  • Strong project management skills
  • Process Mapping abilities
  • Supplier Risk Analysis
  • Supplier Relationship Management
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Skilled in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A potential team leader with strong communication skills
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts, with work experience applying those concepts
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks with exhibited follow-through and initiative
  • Business understanding, particularly in project management, early supplier involvement, total cost management, and financial analysis
  • Understanding and use of technical tools for analysis, problem solving, forecasting, and quality improvement
  • Previous experience with Source to Pay systems
  • Proficient in Excel
  • High ethical standard
