Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop procurement strategies for materials and equipment.
  • Assess current material availability and predict future needs based on market trends, delivery systems, and other variables.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Resolve grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain and implement purchasing and recordkeeping systems.
  • Coordinate removal or disposal of surplus materials or damaged materials.
  • Manage the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly/year-end inventory counts/recounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Leadership: Initiative-taking, takes initiative and leads by example.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
