Mortgage and Loan Assistant Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage and Loan Assistant to join our team

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our loan processing department to ensure the smooth operation of our mortgage and loan services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist loan officers with loan processing and closing procedures.
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding loan approvals, denials, guidelines, policies, and programs.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of loan products and services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • One year increasingly responsible experience in a related position, preferably within the consumer loan area or a comparable member service-related position with Global Credit Union.
  • Direct public contact experience preferred.
  • Ability to type 35 wpm, operate a 10-key calculator, and be familiar with online data operations.
  • Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
