About the Role

Hamilton Company is a leading manufacturer of precision fluid measuring devices, and we're seeking a skilled Product Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive test plans to ensure software, firmware, and hardware functionality and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough testing at various stages of product development, including software, firmware, and hardware.
  • Develop and maintain test reports, defect tracking databases, and present defects to cross-functional teams.
  • Review and provide feedback on product requirements and specifications, and develop plans for test coverage of design inputs.
  • Provide technical expertise on operating systems, monitoring systems, continual improvement processes, specialized environments, and products.
  • Develop and release new test methodologies and processes.
  • Configure software, hardware, and firmware as needed to complete assigned testing.
  • Perform special projects to support the Quality Assurance department.
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
  • Advanced technical writing skills.
  • Knowledgeable in the development, usage, and troubleshooting of electromechanical instrumentation.
  • Basic knowledge of programming concepts.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience and certification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in software or product quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience with software and product development lifecycle processes and quality assurance methodologies, including defect reporting.
