Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will work closely with software developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand the requirements and specifications of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans to ensure the quality of our software applications
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Document and report any issues or defects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methodologies and practices
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to our testing processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Proficiency in SQL for database testing
  • Experience in testing web applications and APIs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with payment processing software
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB)
