Job Title: Quality Assurance Representative

Tactical Air Support is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to join our team in Reno, NV.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Representative will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating all processes and procedures of the supply chain to ensure compliance with local SOPs and ISO standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the Logistics Department to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain quality management systems to conform with Tactical Air and AS9100 standards.
  • Perform inspections and internal audits of all actions within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.
  • Investigate nonconformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review and approve documentation, including control records and validation protocols.
  • Maintain professional competence and knowledge necessary for satisfactory performance.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED with 2+ years of experience in supply chain or quality assurance.
  • Possess knowledge and experience with Quality Assurance procedures and ISO quality system standards.
  • Experience with supply chain solutions, including parts and product procurement, storage, and distribution.
  • Ability to work effectively with various work groups to ensure conformance to quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • PC Skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

Work Environment:

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
  • Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders.
