Team Overview:
This position is part of the International Digital Ecommerce team within the lululemon technology division. This team is tasked with engineering and implementing technology solutions that enhance ecommerce operations and provide comprehensive logistics support for order management. The Senior Technology Manager will be responsible for scaling, securing, and advancing the International team's product roadmap. This role will involve establishing engineering practices and processes that promote consistency, efficiency, and high-quality solutions across international ecommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the vision and engineering for ecommerce platforms, integration systems, order management, and fulfillment services.
- Oversee the engineering team, offering technical guidance in the design, development, and launch of new systems that cater to multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain next-generation architecture utilizing cloud and microservices frameworks to enhance scalability and expedite feature rollouts.
- Emphasize automation and DevOps methodologies to streamline quality assurance processes.
- Build, lead, and nurture a talented team of business analysts, project managers, engineers, and architects.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, PMO, and business units to implement optimal technology solutions.
- Manage complex projects and teams, effectively negotiating and communicating technical information to various audiences.
- Provide leadership and coordination for vendor partnerships, while also collaborating with network infrastructure, legal, and security teams.
- Define processes necessary for achieving and maintaining operational excellence, including project delivery and system reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology.
- Over 10 years of experience in the IT sector, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems (SaaS and AWS) is essential.
- Experience in building microservices and designing large-scale, highly available systems using loosely coupled design patterns.
- Proficiency in ecommerce platform development and knowledge of PCI and ecommerce security practices.
- Extensive experience in Order Management, Omni Channel Fulfillment, and Supply Chain domains.
- Strong background in software development and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in collaborative environments.
- Experience working in multi-regional technology teams, including offshore, nearshore, and onshore models.
