Alaska Family Contact Specialist

Cook Inlet Tribal Council Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Family Contact Specialist to join our team.
The estimated salary for this position is $$63,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and Coordinate Family Contacts: Arrange visits between children in out-of-home placements, foster parents, biological parents, extended family members, and other permitted persons.
- Provide Supervision and Parent Coaching: Ensure safe and supported environments during visits, providing guidance and support to families as needed.
- Maintain Case Records: Accurately document participant situations and actions in observation reports and other required documentation.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement yearly.
- Background Check: Continued employment contingent upon receipt of satisfactory reports from state and federal background checks.
- Driver's License: Valid Alaska driver's license and insurable under CITC's automotive insurance, which requires a driver to be at least 21 years old and have had a driver's license for at least three years.
