Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Efforts: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our properties, including exterior and interior spaces, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Manage Maintenance Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repairs, ensuring costs are controlled and expenses are minimized.
  • Lead a Team of Maintenance Technicians: Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Systems: Troubleshoot and repair various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, to maintain the functionality of our properties.
  • Communicate with Residents and Staff: Respond to resident concerns and complaints, and communicate with staff to ensure that maintenance needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Implement Preventative Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize the risk of equipment failure and reduce maintenance costs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in multifamily maintenance, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Supervisory Experience: A minimum of one year of supervisory experience, preferably in a maintenance or operations role.
  • Certifications and Licenses: EPA certification and a valid driver's license are required. CPO certification and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency are preferred.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders, and access various areas of the property is required. May be required to push or pull items, reach overhead, bend, stoop, or kneel, and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
