Overview

VCU Health is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Polysom Tech/Trainee for our Pediatric Sleep Center. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing safe and reliable diagnostic sleep testing for patients across various age groups.

Salary and Benefits
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible candidates
Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Polysom Tech/Trainee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sleep medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective diagnostic sleep testing for patients across various age groups
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements
Current licensure with the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Polysomnographic Technologist
Current RPSGT certification
Two years of clinical experience in sleep medicine
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications
Three years of clinical experience in sleep medicine
Experience working with pediatric populations
Training in Compumedics diagnostic software and capnography
Academic healthcare experience
