Job Summary

The Account Specialist position is responsible for executing the day-to-day relationship with stores in their assigned territory. This role requires a strong sales performance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with store management and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and execute all promotional activities at the store level or regional level, as applicable.
  • Recommend new items to customers to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Develop and execute item development plans for new items.
  • Plan and execute display programs at the store level and corporate headquarters.
  • Monitor shelf activity to ensure proper replenishment levels and meet store brand standards.
  • Ensure merchandising execution and plan-o-gram and order integrity to achieve 100% distribution with minimal out-of-stocks.
  • Coordinate reset activity at the store level with the assigned Merchandising Team.
  • Monitor and communicate new customer opportunities, including KeHE Direct, within the sales territory.
  • Monitor and communicate competitive activities and opportunities within the assigned sales territory.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of strong sales performance in the grocery industry.
  • 2+ years of experience with specialty food.
