Job Description

Sonder Behavioral Health and Wellness is a group practice of passionate and experienced professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Psychiatric team, playing a vital role in supporting our providers and patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and triage patient phone calls
  • Prepare and submit prior authorizations for medications
  • Document all patient interactions and/or actions taken regarding patient care
  • Review and process all prescription refill requests following provider's orders
  • Communicate messages from providers to patients

Requirements:

  • LPN
  • Knowledge of mental health and psychiatric services (preferred but not required)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous computer experience with the ability to learn new applications and work processes
  • Good prioritization skills, data entry skills, dependable and team player
  • Good multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to quality
  • High level of professionalism and demonstrated comfort level in speaking directly to external and internal providers/patients

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours/week)
