Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Sr. Assistant to join our team at Nebraska Medicine. This part-time role will provide administrative support to our department, working 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday, during business hours.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a wide range of clerical support to the department, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Assist management with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families to provide excellent customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with changing policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure seamless support.

Requirements- Minimum of three years of clerical/general office support experience, including direct experience supporting a manager level or above.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to problem-solve.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- General office support or direct experience supporting a manager level or above in a healthcare or related environment.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Access preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Familiarity with A/V and telecommunications equipment preferred.
