About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Carson Group Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and efficient support for help desk calls and technical issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems on desktop PCs, printers, and mobile devices
  • Analyze and research network device issues and administer solutions
  • Set up and install hardware and software, configure environments for stable operation, and ensure proper function of desktop PCs and required software
  • Configure mobile devices to connect to the company's business network
  • Perform administration tasks for user permissions, directory groups, and data protection schemes
  • Administer and support the company's phone system and its components
  • Write IT-related program documentation, operating instructions, and training materials
  • Assist with server backups and restores
  • Work with the IT Manager to procure, receive, and document inventory of computer equipment and software licenses
Requirements
  • Certifications in MCSA, Network+, A+ desired
  • Experience and strong working knowledge of recent versions of Microsoft Windows OS, MAC OS X, and IOS
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with a VMware Horizon VDI environment
  • Experience with desktop imaging and administration, automated software deployment, and group policy management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
