Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. As a Flagger 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by directing traffic and controlling access to work sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Traffic: Safely direct motorists away from worker activities, moving equipment, and oncoming traffic.
  • Set Up Traffic Control: Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices to divert traffic and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, and wear proper safety equipment, including work boots, hard hat, and safety vest.
  • Work Independently: Set up and perform flagger position at job sites based on site plans and contractor directions, with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with contractors, supervisors, and office staff to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Flagger Certification: Hold a current Flagger certification or be able to pass Company-sponsored Flagger Certification.
  • Defensive Driver Training: Successfully pass Company-sponsored Defensive Driver training.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate/loud noise levels.
