We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Political Outreach Specialist. As a key member of our outreach efforts, you will be responsible for engaging with potential voters and supporters through text messaging campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound text messaging campaigns to inform, persuade, and mobilize individuals to support our cause or candidate.
  • Maintain a clear and concise communication style while adhering to campaign messaging guidelines.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the campaign, its initiatives, and events.
  • Keep detailed records of interactions and feedback received from contacts.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet outreach goals and targets.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on campaign strategies and messaging.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the political landscape and the issues at hand.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • A passion for and knowledge of political issues and campaigns.
  • Comfortable using text messaging platforms and technology.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and campaign strategies.
  • Previous experience in political outreach, canvassing, or phone banking is a plus.

Compensation: $22 per hour
