Commercial Metals, a Fortune 500 leader in construction reinforcement and steel products, seeks an experienced Regional Sales Manager to cover the Upper Midwest territory. As a key member of our Tensar Division, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, implementing bid strategies, and providing technical support to engineers, owners, DOT agencies, and consultants.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional with a background in the construction industry to join a dynamic team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will work closely with our engineering department to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, develop business development plans, and generate monthly reports to track key projects and forecast sales.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business development plan focused on transportation, private development, commercial projects, and civil construction
  • Assist and support the qualification of Tensar proprietary systems by successfully implementing bid strategies to close business
  • Act as a liaison between Tensar's engineering department and clients to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Train, educate, and provide technical support to distributors and job site assistance as required
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum 2 years' sales experience preferred with knowledge of construction-related products a plus
  • Ability to travel regionally between 25% - 50% of the time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated, and a self-starter
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritizing, and time management skills

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
