Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Summary: In the role of Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for collaborating effectively with management and supervisory staff to ensure the timely acquisition of materials necessary for production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with scheduling and management to align material requirements with production timelines.
  • Facilitate communication between sales and production teams to guarantee accurate information exchange.
  • Oversee monthly and annual inventory assessments and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to fulfill organizational needs.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers in partnership with senior management.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer obligations.
  • Generate reports on procurement activities for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant procurement roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and database management tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
