Job Description:

The Health & Human Services Comm is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services team, you will provide senior-level behavior analysis services, including consultation and technical assistance, to individuals with cognitive, developmental, physical, and health-related needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field, and be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing behavior analysis services, including consultation and technical assistance, to individuals with cognitive, developmental, physical, and health-related needs.
  • Developing and implementing behavior support plans, including restraint reduction, skill acquisition plans, and data analysis of the effects of psychotropic medication.
  • Providing training to staff on positive and effective approaches to preventing and addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Evaluating the consistent implementation of behavior support plans through personal observation, staff interviews, and review of documentation.
  • Maintaining knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and departmental and agency policy, and developing systems and procedures to meet the standards and requirements therein.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
