Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business objectives.
  • Collaborate directly with clients in the Construction industry to devise innovative solutions for intricate accounting, tax, and business issues.
  • Integrate Construction and Tax expertise to effectively address client and firm requirements.
  • Lead and strategize client engagements to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide guidance on suitable tax, accounting, and business strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Connect clients with additional internal or external resources as necessary.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and oversee team efforts by establishing goals, providing necessary resources, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Mentor and coach team members on their professional growth and performance.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on individual, business, partnership, and corporate tax in the Construction sector.
  • CPA certification with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Experience managing accounting and tax functions in a public accounting setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and foster the development of team members.
  • Strong drive to meet or exceed personal productivity goals while assisting others in achieving efficiency.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and adhere to processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office, tax, and accounting software, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
