About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Leadership professional to join our team at Gallagher. As a Construction Defect Claims Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of claims professionals in handling a variety of complex construction defect claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of claims professionals to deliver high-quality and efficient service to clients.
- Promote best practices and guide the team to handle claims in accordance with Gallagher's standards.
- Drive talent development and take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage workloads and define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Utilize technology to enhance team efficiency and overall quality of service.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
- Prioritize and develop team members, identifying coaching opportunities and positioning them for successful development.
Requirements
- Claims background in construction defect claims.
- Prior leadership experience of at least 5 years.
- Jurisdictional experience in countrywide claims handling.
About You
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years related claims experience.
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
- Knowledge of all team member-related functions.
