CNA Household Manager

Full-Time - Day Shifts

Compensation up to $25.60/hour

We are currently in search of a Household Manager for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community, located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) designed to deliver person-centered care in a warm, home-like setting, ensuring outstanding care and quality of life for our residents.

The Household Manager collaborates closely with the Nurse Mentor to oversee the non-clinical operations of the household. This role primarily supports the CNAs, ensuring that the comprehensive needs of residents are met while also addressing the requirements of their families. Additionally, this position aligns with United Methodist Communities' policy objectives for the Household Model of Care, emphasizing excellence in care and adherence to state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications for a Household Manager:

  • Completion or enrollment in a DFS-approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program.
  • Current listing (in good standing) with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Prior experience in Long-Term Care is essential.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Long-Term Care/Sub-Acute settings is preferred.

Key Responsibilities for a Household Manager:

  • Assist staff and residents with various tasks, including responding to call lights, aiding residents during meals, transporting residents to activities, engaging with families, problem-solving, scheduling meetings, and ensuring cleanliness within the household.
  • Oversee staffing schedules for CNAs.
  • Monitor supply levels and reorder items as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.
