We are currently in search of a dedicated Household Coordinator for our esteemed Bristol Glen Senior Care Community. This Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) is thoughtfully crafted to deliver person-centered care in a warm, home-like setting, ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and enjoy a high quality of life.
The Household Coordinator plays a vital role in collaboration with the Nurse Mentor, focusing on the non-clinical elements of the household. This position primarily supports the CNAs, ensuring that the overall needs of residents are met and that family requirements are addressed. The role aligns with United Methodist Communities' policy objectives for the Household Model of Care, emphasizing excellence in care and adherence to high standards in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Qualifications for a Household Coordinator:
- Completion or enrollment in a DFS-approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program.
- Current standing on the DFS Nurse Aide Registry.
- Prior experience in Long-Term Care is essential.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Long Term Care/Sub-Acute settings is preferred.
Key Responsibilities for a Household Coordinator:
- Assist staff and residents by responding to call lights, aiding residents during meals, transporting residents to and from activities, collaborating with families, resolving issues, organizing meeting schedules, overseeing household cleanliness, participating in care plan meetings, managing household schedules, and implementing resident service plans.
- Oversee staffing schedules for CNAs.
- Monitor supply levels and reorder items as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or as required by responsibilities.
