Job Summary

The Neuro Step Down Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a therapeutic environment. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing practices and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patients' symptoms and conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and evaluate patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in performance improvement activities
Requirements
  • RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer
  • Specialty certification preferred
  • One to two years of clinical nursing experience preferred
