We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Med Surgical Unit at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those undergoing spinal surgeries, neuro surgeries, and craniotomy procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide and coordinate care for patients, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Assess and reassess patients, developing individualized plans of care that address their unique needs and goals.
- Administer medications, document patient information, and educate patients and their families on proper care and treatment.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and communicate patient needs to the healthcare team.
- RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
- Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- BLS required, and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer.
- At least one-year clinical nursing experience preferred.
