Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and treatment appropriate to the patient population.
- Uphold customer service initiatives in line with Skyline Medical Center's values.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to provide individualized care to meet patient needs.
- Exhibit proficiency in technical skills and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals.
- Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, reporting any changes.
- Execute procedures as ordered by medical providers.
- Maintain thorough documentation of care provided in patient medical records.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Stay informed about medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of patients.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or an appropriate compact state.
- Strong communication skills.
- Education: ASN required, BSN preferred.
