Job Description

Nevada State University is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Standardized Patient/Participant. This is a part-time, temporary position that requires flexibility and a commitment to excellence in simulation training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portray patient scenarios with accuracy and consistency, including history, personality, physical findings, and emotional structure.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback to students and supervising faculty members.
  • Respond to feedback and incorporate it into case simulations.
  • Communicate effectively with students and faculty through email and in-person interactions.
  • Meet scheduled appointments and maintain a flexible schedule.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, with advance notice.
  • Reliable transportation to attend simulation sessions.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a standardized patient/participant in simulation training.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on simulation training. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to excellence and customer service.

Hourly Rate

$20.50 per hour.
