Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of facilities maintenance and operations at Disability Solutions. This includes leading a team through scheduling and project follow-up, completing maintenance items, and supervising others to do the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Understand and implement routine maintenance procedures for HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
- Project Management: Manage various projects and workers on a continuous basis, utilizing both employees and subcontractor networks to meet deadlines.
- Subcontractor Network: Manage, maintain, and expand the subcontractor network, ensuring timely completion of work and proper paperwork.
- Team Leadership: Provide on-site decision-making and team leadership, running weekly Monday AM meetings to deliver schedules and address questions.
- Communication: Communicate with the office manager to schedule subcontractors and employees, and coordinate with internal team members, subcontractors, clients, and vendors.
- Documentation: Track all project documentation on tracking spreadsheets and follow up on the completion of all work orders.
- Travel: Travel is required with mileage reimbursement.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficient in the use of technology and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), SmartSheets, and HelloSign.
