Job Summary:

The Public Safety Officer - PRN is a vital member of the Dallas Regional Medical Center team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual Security Officers' rounds.
  • Coordinate facility response to various potential problems, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Enforce policy and procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement and a safe workplace for employees.
  • Participate in employee awareness and education programs to promote a culture of safety and security.
  • Drive as needed for company business, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.
  • State Guard Certification Registration Card is required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • State Driver's License upon hire and a current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report may be required.
