About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Visual Sound. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, re-installing, and maintaining electronic audio/visual equipment, as well as installing and servicing systems in the most efficient and effective manner to ensure minimum downtime and maximum performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair audio/visual equipment and systems
  • Install and service audio/visual systems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate system performance to customers and internal teams
  • Assist the Technical Operations team with installation and system commissioning work as needed
  • Clear communication, documentation, and organization of paperwork, tools, and company vehicles are essential
Additional Responsibilities
  • Field commissioning of AV systems and other engineering-related duties
  • Create user guides and train end-users on how to use their A/V control systems
  • Refine current processes, develop a better workflow, and make recommendations
  • Work closely with the Technical Operations team, Installation Manager, and Manager of AV Integration to ensure a professional and safe working environment
Requirements
  • Formal education in Electronics or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum two years of AV experience is preferred
  • A four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experience
  • Experience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence, etc.) both hardware and software
  • AVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred
