Quality and Pathogen Lab Generalist

Masters Gallery Foods is a leading provider of high-quality cheese products, and we're seeking a skilled Quality and Pathogen Lab Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control quality, analytical, microbiological, and environmental testing
  • Coordinate laboratory paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Perform pathogen testing on bulk cheese, finished product, and environmental samples
  • Trend and analyze data from our Environmental Monitoring program and other testing programs
  • Train laboratory personnel on proper procedures and equipment usage
  • Maintain and document laboratory and plant equipment accuracy
  • Assist in investigating bulk and consumer complaints
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and company standards
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Lab Science, Microbiology, or related field
  • Two years of experience in a food lab, preferably with knowledge of GMP requirements and AOAC approved methods for cheese testing
  • Excellent organizational skills and analytical ability
