Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at LanceSoft, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our medical devices. Your primary focus will be on developing, modifying, and maintaining quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials products.
You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Your duties will include devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
You will also design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, conduct quality assurance tests, and perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Additionally, you will ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
This role is part of our Technical Specialist Career Stream, which involves advancing existing technology or introducing new technology and therapies.
You will formulate, deliver, and/or manage projects assigned and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. You may act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals.
The majority of your time will be spent delivering R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies - from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.
This role is an entry-level individual contributor on a project or work team, working with close supervision. You will deliver work of limited scope, typically smaller, less complex projects or related activities.
You will identify, define, and address problems that are not immediately evident but typically not difficult or complex. You will make minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems.
You will communicate primarily with internal contacts within your immediate group, contacting others to gather, confirm, and convey information.
This role requires broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. A Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) is required, with 0 years of experience required.
