Job Overview

The Senior Accountant for Financial Reporting plays a crucial role in the Financial Reporting division, directly reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager. This position is pivotal in supporting the Financial Reporting team with both financial and operational reporting, comprehensive analysis, and the essential information required for informed operational and strategic decision-making within TGNR HOLDCO LLC.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting: Engage in the preparation and analysis of various reports including the monthly management package, Board of Directors presentations, quarterly and annual financial statements, and compliance packages.

2. Collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams to gather variance explanations, ensuring clarity in actual versus budget comparisons, trend analysis, and financial statement reviews.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with the Finance team to supply necessary data for budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

4. Integration Support: Assist in the integration of acquisitions and the management of divestiture processes.

5. Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct various analyses to support special projects as required.

6. Process Improvement: Develop templates and reporting tools aimed at enhancing efficiency and analytical capabilities.

7. Reconciliation: Perform monthly account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

8. Special Projects: Contribute to special projects, providing analytical support as needed.

9. Audit Assistance: Prepare necessary schedules and coordinate with various teams to address inquiries during external audits.

10. Accounting Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the chart of accounts and account mapping to meet reporting requirements.

11. Corporate Accounting: Prepare and review journal entries related to general and administrative expenses, hedges, derivatives, and equity transactions.

12. Consolidation: Manage the preparation and review of journal entries for eliminations and intercompany transactions.

13. Training: Provide guidance and support to junior accountants during the month-end closing process.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Recent experience in public accounting is highly desirable.

CPA certification or a graduate degree is preferred.

Strong analytical capabilities with a problem-solving mindset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Quorum software is advantageous.

Proficient in advanced MS Excel, with solid skills in Word and PowerPoint.
