Position Overview

The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant plays a pivotal role within the Financial Reporting team, reporting directly to the Financial Reporting Manager. This position is essential for providing comprehensive financial and operational reporting, as well as analysis that supports informed operational and strategic decisions for TGNR HOLDCO LLC.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of various reports including the monthly management package, Board of Directors presentations, quarterly and annual financial statements, and compliance packages.

2. Cross-Department Collaboration: Engage with multiple departments to gather variance explanations and insights, which will be presented to senior management.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the Finance team to provide necessary data for budgeting and forecasting activities.

4. Integration Support: Aid in the integration of acquisitions and manage divestiture processes.

5. Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct analyses to support various projects as required.

6. Process Improvement: Develop templates and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and analytical capabilities.

7. Account Reconciliation: Review and resolve discrepancies in account reconciliations on a monthly basis.

8. Special Projects: Participate in special projects and perform necessary analyses.

9. Audit Assistance: Prepare schedules and coordinate with teams during external audits to address inquiries and follow up on outstanding items.

10. Corporate Accounting: Prepare and review journal entries related to general and administrative expenses, hedges, derivatives, and equity transactions.

11. Consolidation Activities: Manage journal entries for eliminations, related party transactions, and intercompany settlements.

12. Training and Development: Mentor and assist junior accountants during the month-end closing process.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Recent experience in public accounting is advantageous.

CPA certification or a graduate degree is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Quorum software is a plus.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, along with skills in Word and PowerPoint.
