Environmental Services Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Assistant to join our team at Covenant Health. As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness in assigned areas, including patient care, outpatient, and other areas in the hospital.
- Follow the 7-step cleaning process and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Restock paper products and chemicals throughout the hospital and public areas.
- Remove trash from assigned areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide exemplary customer service to all patients, visitors, families, and staff.
- Discharge cleaning using approved chemicals.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
