Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems to ensure prompt response to emergencies
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents, incidents, and emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, providing support and guidance
  • Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all security-related documents
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience necessary, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
