Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Officer-Loss Prevention PM to join our team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats.
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system to ensure the safety of our guests and employees.
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required, and complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.
  • Handle all interruptions and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation.
  • Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and call for assistance using proper code responses.
  • Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report and maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
