Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Security Officer to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to ensure the safety of our guests and employees
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, providing first aid and CPR as needed
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Notify management and other relevant personnel in the event of an incident or security breach
  • Complete incident reports and other documentation to ensure accurate records of security-related incidents
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with guests, employees, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a security or loss prevention role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
