Position Overview
True Classic Tees LLC is in search of a remarkable leader to oversee and expand the True Classic brand. This role emphasizes team development and leadership, managing strategic initiatives, partnerships, and organic social media engagement. The position reports directly to the Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, nurture, and inspire both internal team members and external collaborators (e.g., agencies, consultants, SaaS partners) to cultivate a cooperative work atmosphere and achieve outstanding business outcomes.
- Brand Strategy: Formulate and execute a thorough brand strategy, concentrating on visual identity, brand voice, and positioning to enhance True Classic's brand equity. Ensure uniform brand messaging and identity across all platforms and channels.
- Brand Partnerships: Establish and oversee strategic alliances with other brands, creators, publications, and influencers to boost True Classic's brand visibility and reach. Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure mutually advantageous results.
- Organic Social Media: Supervise True Classic's presence on all organic social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X), ensuring engaging and consistent content that promotes brand awareness and community growth. Develop and implement social media strategies that align with broader brand objectives.
- Influencer Engagement: Identify, engage, and collaborate with influencers to amplify True Classic's brand message and reach new audiences. Design and execute influencer marketing campaigns that align with brand goals, ensuring authenticity and alignment with True Classic's values. Monitor and assess influencer partnerships to gauge their impact and refine future collaborations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Areas
- Marketing Analytics: Utilize comprehensive analytics and reporting to uncover trends and provide actionable insights, enhancing both brand strategy and social media performance through collaboration with the analytics team.
- Marketing Technology: Assess and integrate marketing technology tools that enhance campaign efficiency, customer targeting, personalized messaging, and marketing automation in close partnership with the tech team.
- Product Development & Marketing: Work closely with the product team to identify new product opportunities and craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience, elevating True Classic's market presence.
- Commercial Collaboration: Partner with the commercial team to identify and leverage marketing programs to expand across sales channels and regions, focusing on both brand development and ongoing customer engagement.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Provide strategic insights to the finance team to enhance brand strategy and optimize marketing efficiency, informing financial forecasting and business goal setting to support sustainable growth.
- 7+ years of marketing experience with a proven record in a senior leadership capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Familiarity with e-commerce, direct-to-consumer brands, and omnichannel retail is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate deep consumer insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to drive ideas from concept to completion quickly, overcome obstacles, and multitask across multiple projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; willing to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes to achieve the best results and win as a team.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing marketing teams; strong leadership abilities including mentoring, coaching, and inspiring teams.
