Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our claims organization, developing strategies to drive business performance, and serving as a key member of our executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the claims department of 110 claims professionals
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business performance
  • Provide input and participate in divisional meetings and training sessions
  • Partner with peers and parent company leadership to provide insights on claims trends and developments
  • Support and counsel on new business opportunities and key account retention
  • Provide strategic direction and tactical leadership to the department
  • Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and analyze data to ensure consistency in quality of reserving, strategies, and outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and company procedures
  • Nurture and enhance a unique claims culture and maintain high levels of employee engagement
  • Provide advice on the resolution of claims files and ultimate authority over settlements/reserves
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of proven leadership experience in workers' compensation claims management
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate vision and objectives
  • Insurance industry awareness and involvement
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000.00 - $360,000.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
