Job Description

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Support Analyst is a critical role within our organization, responsible for providing expert technical assistance and guidance to business stakeholders in the development and implementation of GIS solutions. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to resolve GIS-related issues and provide technical solutions through research and analysis.
  • Serve as a liaison between the GIS team and other departments, gathering business requirements and ensuring solutions meet their needs.
  • Develop GIS reports and statistics for management and other departments as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Spatial Science, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 1-3 years of related experience, including training, support, and GIS activities.
  • Proficiency in ESRI software suite, including ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Online.
  • Experience with web, desktop, and mobile GIS applications, particularly ESRI's ArcGIS and SSP Productivity Solutions.
