Tech Marine Business is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide critical support to our program management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and engage in the collection, preparation, and management of Task Planning Sheets (TPS) to accurately reflect program office requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of funding documentation within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and ensure timely submission to relevant organizations for processing.
  • Manage the TPS Budget Execution Workbook to maintain accurate records of budgets, allocations, and revisions, ensuring compliance with obligation and expenditure benchmarks.
  • Prepare monthly execution status reports for senior management and assist in the preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Identify expiring funds and collaborate with government Program Analysts to assess recoupment opportunities and develop realignment plans.
  • Track funding document Work Completion Dates (WCD) and strategize on extending deadlines or recouping funds as needed.
  • Research and compile responses to financial inquiries from various organizations, including the NAVSEA comptroller.
  • Develop data presentations for Program and Financial Reviews, offering actionable recommendations based on thorough analysis.
  • Enhance proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, while supporting team members in their skill development.
  • Engage in regular internal and external communications, including scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
  • Maintain expertise in various financial management systems and lead efforts to enhance team proficiency in these tools.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) initiatives, including contract performance analysis and independent cost estimating.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in financial support roles within U.S. Navy program offices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military service experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Possession of an active DOD Secret security clearance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for job functions.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for necessary equipment.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $90K - $140K
