We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate professionals to join our team as Lead Clinicians/Clinicians to support an upcoming Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) mission.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting intake, admission, and diagnostic assessments, providing clinical services, and collaborating with the Case Management department to ensure proper communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake, admission, and diagnostic assessments with documented results.
  • Provide clinical services within funding source guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Case Management department to ensure proper communication and documentation.
  • Provide a minimum of one weekly one-to-one counseling session.
  • Facilitate weekly psycho-educational and therapeutic client groups.
  • Continually monitor the mental well-being of clients and arrange for appropriate services as needed.
  • Attend all required trainings and meetings to ensure up-to-date information is received.
  • Assist in the evacuation of youth as needed due to inclement weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen occurrences.
  • Travel as needed for trainings, conferences, or youth transportation within the U.S.
  • Ensure the proper supervision of youth at all times.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, sociology, or relevant behavioral science, or bachelor's degree with 5 years of clinical employment experience.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for license.
  • At least one year of experience in working with youth in inpatient, residential, or detention facilities, or those with high-risk backgrounds.
  • Ability to utilize evidence-based theory to conceptualize clinical cases and formulate treatment plans.
  • Successful completion of 86 hours of pre-service training and job shadowing.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Possess a cleared tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to successfully clear a background check.
  • Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
  • Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
