Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement lesson plans and lead classroom instruction, ensuring a minimum of 50% of the weekly schedule is dedicated to teaching.
  • Communicate effectively with families to promote achievement and support the center's success.
  • Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers, creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
  • Assume duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
  • Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
  • College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
  • Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
