Key Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and care.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide well-coordinated patient care, including assessing and recording patient condition, communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and delegating tasks to other nursing personnel as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and age-related needs.
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds, providing input and insights to ensure desired outcomes for patients.
- Reflect the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and ANA Social Policy Statement in daily practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current Connecticut RN license
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- Associate degree required, BSN preferred
- Two years of Medical-Surgical/Critical Care experience preferred
