Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of 8-12 back office staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure they meet the highest standards of patient care and office operations.
  • Patient Management: Partner with dentists to ensure patients receive proper pre- and post-treatment instructions, and maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor patient flow, review sign-in sheets and appointment books, and make adjustments to schedules as needed to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and corporate policies and procedures, and conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Maintain dental supplies and inventory, and ensure stock levels are adequate to meet patient needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient treatment records.
  • Team Development: Lead, inspire, and motivate back office staff to achieve their full potential and provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in supervising a team of 8-12 staff members, with the ability to demonstrate authority, delegate responsibility, and hold team members accountable.
  • Dental Knowledge: Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, as well as OSHA and safety compliance.
