Position Overview

We are seeking dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic Retail Shop Associates to join the Equinox team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to make a meaningful impact within a growing and vibrant organization.

The Shop Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional and unparalleled customer experience to all visitors of Equinox and the Shop. The Shop Associate will take guidance from the Shop MOD on business strategies and action plans to ensure maximum productivity and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Shop Associate will assist with the timely and accurate completion of operational tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

SALES & SERVICE
  • Achieving assigned monthly sales targets (individual contribution to total monthly store goal).
  • Ensuring an unparalleled customer experience for all visitors to The Shop and to Equinox.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products.
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
  • Understanding and upholding all loss prevention and inventory management policies consistently.
  • Ensuring personal comprehension of all communication and training materials, and assisting the Shop MOD with the timely and accurate completion of all assigned operational tasks.
PRODUCT & PRESENTATION
  • Assisting the Shop MOD to ensure that The Shop reflects the company brand standards; through execution of merchandising and marketing direction, and adherence to The Shop dress code.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
PROFESSIONAL DIMENSION
  • Building effective relationships and partnerships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of happenings and general standards and practices outside of The Shop, in other departments to encourage camaraderie and team spirit.
  • Complying with and enforcing all company policies and procedures; embracing and supporting company initiatives.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively at all levels with both tact and diplomacy.
Qualifications

TO SUCCESSFULLY PERFORM IN THIS ROLE, THE INDIVIDUAL SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The ability to take direction.
  • Experience in a customer service environment; preferably in retail.
  • Hardworking and diligent, possessing both honesty and personal integrity.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize new techniques and ideas.
  • Availability to work a varied schedule, based on the needs of our unique retail business.

Pay Transparency: $16.78/hr + ability to earn bonuses
