Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Appellate Litigation Paralegal to join our team at PrideStaff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation case management, document review, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement litigation case management systems, including file management, case calendaring, and discovery-related tasks.
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist attorneys with document reviews, setup, coordination, and preparation of privilege logs.
  • Draft and review routine legal documents as requested by attorneys.
  • Conduct precedent and legal research under attorney supervision, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree required; Paralegal Certification is a plus.
  • Previous trial experience with high-profile cases, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work concurrently on multiple matters and manage time and expectations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Must be available for overtime and travel as needed.
