Job Overview:


As a Front Desk Agent at Shawnee Lodge & Cottages, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests during their check-in and check-out processes.

You will serve as the initial point of contact for guests, playing a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and inviting experience for everyone.


Compensation & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet guests upon their arrival at the hotel
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes using our reservation system
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Offer information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
  • Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests
  • Answer phone calls and route them to the appropriate department or individual
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Front Desk Manager or General Manager

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
