This position is responsible for the administration and management of the division, providing leadership and direction to the division and coordinating activities with other divisions in the Regional Office.

- Direct and improve records control functions using records management and knowledge management principles, concepts, processes, and tools.
- Provide advice and assistance to commands, directorates, offices, and Project Management Offices through on-site visits, correspondence, and/or telephone.
- Responsible for setting priorities and assigning work to subordinates based on agency initiatives and goals, level of difficulty, and capability or expertise.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Selectees are subject to a background/suitability investigation.
- Selective Service registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- A probationary period may be required for employees and supervisors.
- Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
- This is a Non-Bargaining Unit (NBU) position.
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Note: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Time-In-Grade Restrictions: Applicants who held a General Schedule (GS) position under non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service in the executive branch in the past 52 weeks must also meet Time-In-Grade requirements.
For a GS-13 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-12 level. To support your claim of Time-In-Grade, you must submit your most recent Appointment, Promotion, or Within Grade Increase SF-50 (do not submit an Award [NOA Code 840, 841, 842] or General/Pay Adjustment SF-50 [NOA Code 894]). Some applicants may have to submit more than one SF-50 to demonstrate their eligibility.
